Opportunities for Your Future

STEP Oregon helps youth explore careers, build confidence, and connect with real opportunities. Through work-based learning, industry partnerships, and practical supports, participants can:

  • Discover career pathways that match their strengths and interests.
  • Build workplace skills through projects, training, and hands-on learning.
  • Expand their network through mentors, employers, and community partners.

The goal is simple: help young people move forward with clearer options, stronger support, and better access to employment. We accomplish this goal by working with regional CTE (Career Technical Education) programs in high schools as well as Community-Based Organizations. Via these CTE programs, we help organize job-like preparation projects that result in products utilized by local communities.
